Las Vegas Attractions

---------------------------------------------------------------------

The true attraction of Las Vegas lies in its amazing contrasts- the ones that God intended, and the one that man created. It's amazing to see how the two have come to coexist.

On the strip you will find thousands of acres of tropical rainforest, lions and tigers, dolphins and sharks, gigantic fountains, huge throngs of people in a city that never sleeps. But over 40 miles away, beyond the gigantic man-made Lake Mead , a strange world miraculously appears- a stark, rugged, desolate landscape where only the toughest can survive.

We start our tour of Las Vegas attractions amid the glitz and glamour of the Strip. Nowhere else on earth will you find the Statue of Liberty and the Brooklyn Bridge ( New York , New York ), the majestic Sphinx and King Tut's tomb ( Luxor ), the gondolas of Venice (Venetian) and 'ancient' Roman villages (The Forum) within just a few miles from each other.

The fragrance of exotic blooms will lure you to the Bellagio Conservatory and Botanical Gardens , which undergoes dramatic seasonal changes four times a year.

You will also enjoy the Bellagio Gallery of Fine Art , which has showcased the works of van Gogh, Renoir, Matisse and Cézanne.

Head down the strip to the non-profit Guggenheim Hermitage Museum , where you can spot the works of Andy Warhol, Tom Wesselman and Roy Lichtenstein, among others of similar stature. The Guggenheim Las Vegas is a 63,700 square foot museum designed to exhibit the extensive art collections of the Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation and the State Hermitage Museum of St. Petersburg, Russia.

You haven't arrived in Las Vegas unless you've visited the Neon Museum with its famous neon signs that bring back the glimmer of days gone by.

Your kids would love the Lied Discovery Children's Museum - the largest educational institution for children, with exciting interactive exhibits.

Inside the Tropicana Hotel and Casino , the Liberace Museum is offers a sneak peek into the life of the legend, including his famous costumes and the grand piano studded with diamond and gold. And don't forget to pay a tribute to the King, at Elvis-A-Rama Museum . Featuring Elvis memorabilia valued over $3 million it's the largest collection outside Graceland . You will also enjoy Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum , with over 100 life-like wax figurines of some of the world's most famous people.

At Circus Circus on Las Vegas Boulevard (the Strip), its time to let the excitement of Vegas go to your head. Jump down a 52-meter tower at AJ Hachett Bungy and get ready for more heart-stopping action at the Adventuredome , which houses the world's only double-loop, double corkscrew indoor roller coaster ( the Canyon Blaster ). Try the " Rim Runner " where you will ride up a splashy stream and brace yourself for a 60-foot waterfall! You'll love the IMAX Ride Film, the Inverter (flips you full circle) and Chaos .

There are more thrills in store at Wet' n Wild , one of America 's Top 10 Water Parks. Enjoy an exciting array of signature thrill rides including Banzai-Banzai, Black Hole, The Bomb Bay, Blue Niagara , Der Stuka, The Royal Flush and Raging Rapids. There's plenty of fun for kids as well as adults.
